“What a wonderful experience! Our guide, Kumi, was very informative and friendly and she showed us many great spots at the market, and she even wrote down other spots for us to visit on our own time later on. It was very useful, since the market is so big. Then, the sake tasting was just as incredible. We tasted 20 excellent sake selected and presented by a sommelier who took the time to explain all their unique characteristics. We also got to learn how sake is made. Overall, a very pleasant experience very worth the price, I heavily recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!”

Cook sushi and ramen in Tokyo in a small group, with sake tasting, a recipe booklet, and hands-on instruction on nigiri and broth.

“Our cooking class with Sato, Haruko, and Risa was absolutely wonderful. The small group made the experience feel intimate and genuinely warm. They shared so much, not just recipes, but pieces of their culture, their personal stories, and little gestures that made the whole moment feel truly human. It was one of those rare experiences where cooking becomes more than cooking: a cultural exchange, a conversation, and a memory we’ll keep with us for a long time. The food was delicious, of course, but it’s really the kindness, curiosity, and generosity of Sato, Haruko, and Risa that made this class unforgettable. We will send you pictures of our ramen once…”

“The sushi was excellent. We will go back for sushi. We have expected more explanation about the origin and make of the sake. There were 4 sakes we were given to try. Very little information was provided. We asked a few questions but were disappointed by the lack of knowledge. We felt rushed. The 10 pieces of sushi were presented within 30 minutes. Will we were still being served sake, we were requested to move from the counter to a table near the door to accommodate customers who were coming in. Verdict - the experience was below expectation.”
